Waged positions are available for this season 2013 to individuals with a genuine and sincere desire to learn how to grow food and feed people with exceptional quality. Experience is helpful, but not essential, however, a will and passion to do something very well is vital
For sixteen years we have run our 20 acre certified Biodynamic farm situated on the Welsh/ Herefordshire borders, at the foothills of The Black Mountains. Our main focus is growing vegetables. We also produce small quantities of pork, beef, lamb, eggs, poultry, fruit, herbs and flowers. We sell all that we farm and grow directly to families and individuals in London every Saturday of the year.
We offer an opportunity to work alongside us, and the chance to learn the skills that we have, and to gain a good knowledge of what is involved in the running of a small, but commercial biodynamic farm. That means a farm that is able to sustain itself financially, through its own work and resourcefulness. It also means a farm with the impulse to grow the highest quality of food, both nutritionally and in its taste.
Accommodation is basic, in static caravans, and self catering. As with most beautiful locations we are quite cut off from transport links and shops, so your own transport would be an advantage to you.

Saturday staff needed.
We sell our produce weekly (Saturday) in London. This mainly consists of seasonal vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbs and occasionally meat. We need staff to help us in our new space in Bermondsey. You must be able to commit to at least two Saturdays a month, and possibly more at times. The working hours are approximately 6.30 am to 4pm. We are looking for people that genuinely enjoy serving and talking to customers, have an interest in high quality food and cooking. Of course you must be reliable, but enthusiasm is essential. A flair for display and a pride in one´s work is also essential.
