Sorry a little late this week, was rather busy in the puppy department yesterday. Our favourite, Mousey left with his new family to go to live in London, it will suit him fine, his markings are very stylish and he is going to a very doggie loving home. The owners are customers of ours and already have the best behaved dog that comes shopping. The pups have been a joy, we have loved having them.
Lots of produce again this week, with the frost still staying away. So a good range of greens including chard and kale. Carrots are on tip top form, as are the red and gold beetroots. Squashes are keeping well and we have plenty to keep you going for a while. Parsley, thyme, sage, chervil and mint are the on offer this week. Lettuce from the greenhouse, a nice butterhead variety. Apples, pears and quince. Leeks and celery also for sale.
Also our lamb will be available this week, and a couple of wild rabbits too. In the coming weeks we will have another batch of chickens to sell and the first of our Hereford beef, will keep you posted.
Next week looks like a few chilly nights will come our way, to sweeten the sprouts and parsnips for Christmas. Talking of which we will have our usual range of Christmas poultry for sale and can now take orders for them. Will send out a special post next week telling you all about them.
