Produce available Saturday 14th August

Sorry that we have no photographs this week, but we have been rushed off our feet with hay making and concrete laying. We promise to have some next week, you will be amazed to see how big the brassicas have grown the field is now a sea of greens, from green,blue to purple shades. We are also expecting our first Hereford cow with her six month old calf to arrive next week, so will try and include her in next weeks photo shoot. Many of you have asked when we will be selling meat again, we will have it again for sale at the begining of September at Stanworth st only.

Meanwhile we have the following for sale at Borough (9 am -4pm) and at 55 Stanworth st. (9 am -2pm)

New potatoes- More delicious Charlotte , Franceline and maris Bard
Lettuces- Webbs wonderful,Cos and Cocarde
Fennel- young and tender for salad and roasting
Celery crisp and dark green, outstanding quality
Beetroot bunches of golden and red
Garlic
Ruby Chard and green chard
Beet leaves
Celery- on great crunchy form at the moment.
Bunches of young carrots
Globe Artichoke
Long Red Florence onions- sweet enough to eat raw, these look very smart in an onion tart

Salad Leaf bags- young chard and beet leaves, corn salad and cress,Nasturtium flowers amongst the mix
Herbs, sage,  mint and tarragon

Tomatoes- at last our own lots of tasty and interesting varieties picked fresh from their vines

All the above is produced at Fern Verrow and is certified Biodynamic.
 
We will also be bringing some fruit that will be selected in Stroud on our way up to London on Friday evening . All of it is Organic,  and in many cases Biodynamic: ( Demeter is the accrediting body for biodynamic growers and farmers)
